Facilities at the Computer Center

Approximately 200 personal computers with a range of software are available for students to use. Software such as McAfee and Shazam are freely downloadable on intra university basis. Other computer software available on computers in the Center.

• Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard (to be activated from each computer's desktop "Application Server". There is a limit of 10 machines using this application at one time)

Available Databases and Electronic Journals

(1) Nikkei NEEDS from the Computer Center through the university LAN. This is one of the largest databases for the Japanese economy. Data can be downloaded intramurally through the following URL: http://cc.hit-u.ac.jp/applications/needs

(2) From the University Library through the university LAN
1. Electronic journals: A wide selection of journals in economics is available for download. The list is found in the university library web page.
